Welcome to the Trails WA website. Trails provide a great opportunity to get out of the car and enjoy some physical activity whilst discovering the beautiful landscapes and heritage of Western Australia.
These pages will provide you with an overview of some of the best trails on offer and link you to other websites for further information.
You will not find every trail in WA here – just a selection of well maintained, well marked trails which are reasonably easy to get to. Most of these happen to be in the South West corner of the State which is one of the world’s environmental hotspots with an enormous array of wildflowers, majestic karri and tingle forests and coastal heathlands.
The Department of Environment and Conservation, Department of Sport and Recreation and Tourism WA are all working towards enhancing our trails network to bring you more opportunities, including more canoeing, equestrian and mountain bike trails, and we invite you to return to this site in future as more trails are added to the site.
